On March 17, the launching ceremony of the 500kw hydrogen fuel cell power working vessel "Three Gorges Hydrogen Boat No. 1", which was built by Beijing PERIC Hydrogen Technologies Co., Ltd and entered the class of China Classification Society (CCS), was held in Jianglong Boat Zhongshan Science and Technology Park. This project is another important breakthrough in the field of new energy boats of Beijing PERIC Hydrogen Technologies Co., Ltd, which has positive demonstration significance for exploring the application of hydrogen energy technology in inland vessels, and provides an important theoretical basis and practical case for the subsequent promotion of hydrogen fuel cell ships in China.
"Three Gorges Hydrogen Boat No. 1" adopts hydrogen fuel cell and lithium battery power system, is a steel and aluminum composite structure, the total length of 49.9m, type width 10.4m, type depth 3.2m, the use of full rotary rudder propeller propulsion, hydrogen fuel cell rated output power of 500kw, the maximum speed of 28km/h, cruise speed of 20km/h when the endurance of up to 200km. It has the characteristics of high environmental protection, high comfort, low energy consumption and low noise, and will be used for traffic, inspection and emergency work in the Three Gorges reservoir area and between the two DAMS.
Beijing PERIC Hydrogen Technologies Co., Ltd participated in the verification work of the special research on hydrogen fuel powered ships, and cooperated with China Classification Society to formulate the relevant specifications for hydrogen fuel powered ships. The on-board hydrogen system developed by the company has been applied on the "Hydrogen Boat No. 1", the system adopts the hydrogen storage cylinder and control system certified by the classification society, the overall design meets the classification society's classification requirements, the hydrogen storage capacity can reach 240Kg, the hydrogen supply for 500kW fuel cells, and the refueling work can be completed within 4 hours, helping Chinese ships to enter the hydrogen power era.
The hydrogen system on board the ship has the characteristics of high and low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. A lot of Marine working condition tests have been carried out and good test results have been obtained to ensure the smooth operation of the hydrogen system. At the same time, according to the regulations, the valve box is combined with a variety of connections, and the automatic purge system is equipped to improve the safety of the hydrogen supply system. This product can be customized according to user needs to meet the needs of national scientific research, enterprises and individuals on board hydrogen system.
